Time Flies

Oh my! It's almost the end of the month. September is always so busy, what with the new tv season and all. I've been all wrapped up with Dancing and Duets. In fact Tvgasm even suggested that the two shows should be combined. The first season of Dancing I couldn't get enough of it. But now that they're up to 11 dancing stars, I'm not sure I have the attention span to make it through that many weeks. Maybe they'll take a page from The Donald have some double eliminations.

At any rate, I'm trying to rig up something new here and it didn't work on my first attempt and now I have to be off somewhere and can't fiddle with it any longer. So, I will give you the link and you can set it up for yourself. Or tell me how to do it.

This cool new dealio is called Library Thing and is an online tool to build your own personal book catalogue. Go to the web site and check it out. You can keep it private, if you want. It's a nifty way to keep track of all those great books other people recommend that you jot down on scraps of paper that never seem to be with you when you finally get to the library or Borders. You know how that goes.

Now I'm actually off to the library. To listen to reading.

It's Elemental

***Your Element Is Air*** You dislike conflict, and you've been able to rise above the angst of the world. And when things don't go your way, you know they'll blow over quickly. Easygoing, you tend to find joy from the simple things in life. You roll with the punches, and as a result, your life is light and cheerful. You find it easy to adapt to most situations, and you're an open person. With you, what you see is what you get... and people love that! What's Your Element?

Time Warp

Well, I confess. I have been living under a rock for lo these many years.

I just saw the premiere of Singing with the Stars or whatever it's called. This is the show where they have people who are famous for doing other things pair up and sing with people who are famous for singing. The real singers were actual legends. Mostly. Smokey Robinson. Gladys Knight. Peter Frampton.

Wait. Peter Frampton?

You mean that older gentleman with the close-cropped white hair? That's little Billy Shears?

Maybe I have him confused with Andy Gibb.
