Hey there Number 1. I just wanted to say hi. I was at a retreat Friday night and all day today, Saturday, and I crave non-parochial communication at the moment. The retreat continues through Sunday and from 5-9 on Monday. So far I am uninspired; the info is good but the testamonials are trivial whinings compared to what I've seen and experienced. On the other hand, I am thankful for the new friends. I wish I could say that I have had a rest from thinking about work, but when one works for the Church and spend your free time there as well, eventhough it is a different parish, the stone hasn't been thrown very far. Sigh, but that is life as I know it these days. Beyond that, I am dealing with cancer in yet another sister, a home-bound mother, a teenage daughter, an ADHD dog, cabin fever, overwork, and long lines at Walmart. Thanks for letting me vent.
